Our online business has grown very fast last year. We started with a very simple shopping basket and now has been upgraded to being very strong because our business is increasing. I want to take a moment here to offer a short shopping basket review which contrasts with the shopping cart that we use.
Those who want to sell goods or services on the web are often faced with difficult choices to choose shopping baskets. In this shopping basket review I will compare and distinguish the two extreme shopping basket choices and why you should choose one or the other. When I first started my website, I chose to use PayPal shopping trains. My first and main reasons for choosing a PayPal shopping basket are the fact that it is not only free to use, but I can take a credit card without having to have a merchant account. Trader accounts usually value around twenty dollars per month plus initial costs.
PayPal is a good way to start
I have read a shopping basket review on the PayPal shopping cart when I just started my site. It also suggests PayPal shopping trains is a good choice for young sites. PayPal costs are only slightly higher than the credit card fee with an ordinary merchant account.
Another factor in choosing a PayPal shopping basket was originally simplicity. Anyone who has basic HTML skills will not have a problem by adding it to the page. The process is quite simple. Enter your PayPal account and click “Merchant Tool” and then “Shopping Cart”. Complete the wizard and then copy and paste the code to your site where you want the “Buy” button. There is nothing easier.
It’s not perfect
In this shopping basket review I will also show the downside to a simple and advanced cart. There are several problems using PayPal shopping trains. First of all there are no statistics available. There is no easy way for you to compare the sale of your product. And there is no way to easily adjust with different shipping rates for various countries or regions A.S. There is no cross selling mechanism, and there is no way to easily tell whether the buyer is a new customer or returning customer. And isn’t it better to compare sales this month to survive? Paypal can’t do it for you.
I decided to use the PayPal shopping train until I started ordering. After I started an average of 3 or 4 orders per day, I began to look at other shopping baskets. As part of this shopping cart review, I will discuss the advanced shopping basket that I moved when the business was taken. I decided on Yahoo’s shopping train. This is also called a Yahoo store. It’s kind of confusing call it Yahoo Store. There is no way by looking at my home page or my order page that it is part of Yahoo.
Time to update
I joined the Yahoo Merchant solution program offering which included hosting software, email, and my shopping basket. It is a package of all inclusive. I also signed up for a merchant account with a company in a partnership with Yahoo. I am very happy with the train and remain so today. It seems expensive, but actually makes me money with all statistics, cross-selling machines, and ease of fulfilling my customer order. I have now increased to the plan of ninety-nine dollars. This plan also requires me one percent of all sales passing through the shopping basket. In this shopping basket review, I can’t say enough about Yahoo’s shopping basket. It was a solid stone and I didn’t realize even one mistake in it after thousands of orders on my site.
